Client Success Story - Savage Primary Suite Accessibility Remodel

A family reached out to Remodel for Life because their primary suite bathroom was not functional for a family member in a wheelchair. Bathing, using the sink, and accessing the toilet were all daily challenges that made the space stressful rather than supportive.

Our team completely remodeled the bathroom for accessibility and comfort. We installed a roll-under sink for independent use, a step-in tub for safe bathing, and improved toilet access for ease and dignity. To maximize wheelchair maneuverability, we also removed the barrier walls that had previously enclosed the toilet in a private room, opening the space for full accessibility. Just as importantly, the new design was created to serve both partners—one with disabilities and one without—so the bathroom remained beautiful, practical, and comfortable for them both.
